Tales from the unexpected
A charming stay with highly attentive staff! The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions and the spacious rooms are good. Breakfast offered excellent coffee and a variety of pastries. Some noise could disrupt your rest, so consider choosing a quieter room. Still, a nice visit overall.

I stayed a week there. I had a very nice room, and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was very nice too. I really enjoyed my stay.
Internet access is a bit complicated (free but you have to ask each time for the receptionist to come to the computer to do a password). Via Roma is a very busy street (but most rooms don't give on it).

great value but some room for improvement
The location is fantastic, within walking distance of key sights! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I loved the option to choose between rooms with a view or a quieter space. We opted for the peaceful side. The view of the city from the balcony was a good bonus.
The air conditioning controls were a bit inconvenient, requiring a request to the front desk for adjustments.

Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, very near the city center, good value for money.
There is no parking place and the lift is very small especially when you carry suitcases.

Oh, let me tell you about the culinary gems nearby! Just a hop away, La Locanda stole my heart with its scrumptious traditional dishes. Teco had the best espresso to fuel my adventures! The super nice team with luggage storage after checkout-made exploring after checking out such easy.
Now for a cheeky jab-the hotel feels like it's stuck in time. The furniture is showing its age, and don't get me started on the A.C. Policy! Asking the receptionist to switch on the A.C.

Good location - close to the train station. A fair distance from the ferry port (as we came from Napoli) and was quite difficult to find at 6am in the morning. Clean rooms; spacious bathroom; and free wi-fi
The air conidtioning didn't work in our room despite numerous requests throughout the night for it to be fixed (it was controlled by a main switch at reception - not in the room). Ok service but when we had to depart at 7:30am and requested breakfast to be available or at least a take away option (which was included in the room rate) at 7am the answer was 'this is not possible'. We didn't think 7am was too early to ask for some bread and tea to be available.

Breakfast was so good! Cappuchinos made for you on the spot. Really close to the train station which is nice, but I would say a 15 minute walk to the water front or east-center palermo. Room was amazingly quiet- they must soundproof the windows. In general, room was basic, but everything was clean, place was great! Good place for the money! Breakfast room is super cute.
15-20 minutes to walk to get the bus for Modello, to get to water. Nothing spectacular but nothing horrible!

I was taken aback by the absurd noise levels, as my room was directly by the reception, not exactly the serene getaway i envisioned. To make matters worse, the lack of air conditioning control was just plain ludicrous. After all, i expected a warm welcome gift or maybe an upgrade. How hard could that have been?

Hotel del Centro is a very funny place in common. The first most privilege is the location, which is very close to the central railway station and is on the big city street. Then, it's a friendly and sympathetic personal. All staff is speaking English, so, is excellent. There are quite and clean rooms typical for the small hotels. Basically, it can be recommended to the family stay.
It should be remembered, that in Palermo the location of the Hotel (big city street) is more advantage than not. I think that it's not so good idea to choose small streets for stay since it's can be dirty and not so quite or safety. So, for Hotel del Centro similar disadvantages are present but minimised.

Excellent position on Via Roma, close both to the city centre and the train station. Safe neighborhood. Very good breakfast, besides usual Italian sweets they also offer some bread, cheese ham, yogurt and cereals.
Our room was small, it couln't be in the *** standards of size. But I think they also have bigger rooms.
